After breakfast, explore the last Indian village towards the China border. Drive to Tabo via Nako. Visit Nako Lake and nearby villages. Take a detour to Giu, famous for a 500-year-old mummy of a Buddhist monk. Cross the Ka loops and enter Spiti through Sumdo Border. Reach Tabo by evening. Dinner & overnight stay.
Post breakfast, visit Tabo Monastery, the oldest in Spiti Valley. Continue to Dhankar Monastery, enjoying views of the confluence of Spiti and Pin Rivers. Visit Pin Valley, Tailing Hanging Bridge, and Mudh Village. Return to Kaza for dinner & overnight stay in homestay.
Visit Key Monastery (largest in Spiti), Kibber, Hikkim (world’s highest post office), Komik (highest motorable village), Langza (Buddha statue with snow-capped mountain views), and Chicham Bridge. Return to Kaza for dinner & overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Chandratal via Kunzum Pass (15,050 ft). Reach the crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake, explore the banks, and enjoy star-gazing at night. Dinner & overnight stay at Chandratal campsite.
Early morning check-out and drive to Manali via Atul Tunnel, Sissu, and Rohtang Pass. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and return journey to Delhi or Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station. Proceed onwards to your destination, carrying beautiful memories of Spiti Valley and Chandratal.
